Field Notes in Functional Anatomy

Get to know each muscle like an old friend.

Where do they begin? Where do they end? How do they influence the structures around them? What role do they play in posture and movement? When they hurt, where do they hurt?

In this unique functional anatomy course, we take the slow path—one muscle at a time—exploring each muscle and how it behaves within the living body.

Each month, we study a single muscle or fascial structure through a regional lens, with special attention to posture, pain patterns, and myofascial continuities.

Along the way, you'll build your own Field Notes: a growing collection of anatomical profiles, clinical observations, and practical insights for the modern practitioner.

Delivered through monthly video lessons and downloadable handouts, this course allows you to study at your own pace while gradually creating a rich reference library for your practice.
